About Us

Hi there! My name is Abigail and that handsome man up there next to me is Adam.

So you want to know about our lives? *smile*. I'd be happy to tell you!

I was born in Tennessee in 1995, and Adam in New Jersey in 1984. Yep, 11 years apart! But we can't help but think we see the hand of God in our finding each other.

I was raised by missionary parents and when they decided to return home after a total of 10 years in Tanzania, East Africa, I decided to remain behind and see my dream of a public library (that is to function as an educational center) to reality. Just about the time when I was getting things together, Adam came on the screen and now, we are both going to be working in Tanzania. Adam will be assisting me with the library, and helping TZ2000 ( the team we will be joining) start a radio station that will impact many.

I found out I was pregnant on June 4th, 2014, and it changed our plans. On February 14th 2015 we welcomed Jubilee Louise. She is such a joy and delight. We decided to wait, finish working on "The Christian Graces", a book we are translating into Swahili and see where God takes us. On March 20th 2017 God blessed us with another girl, Lydia Brooke.

So, this is our journey. Join us, help us and change lives. We're only given so much time on this earth. Let's use it to the best of our ability.

What an Experience!

Wow, PTP has been really nice.  A lot of old faces and some new. To think, I may not know everyone here but they're all a part of the church of Christ. It's that wonderful bond that Christ has given us! And because we are all apart of the Church ( and I would even say, among the strong and faithful), the lessons are on a deeper level. Since we all know the stories ( accounts), we can dive into the Word- comparing this and applying that.          After several weeks of gathering and putting it together ( I had the hardest time getting the green lettering on the black project board to stay on) I set up my booth in the vending area. I was quite surprised to see so many others doing exactly what I'm doing. But I should have thought, " 3,000 people are coming, tons of other people will be using this great oppo...
Well folks, it's been a while since I've written and for that I apologize. I just didn't feel like I had much to say in the progress of the library ( or my life for that matter- we traveled here, we traveled there), but now I clearly have enough. :) Since GBN I have tried to contact several people in  many congregations, attempting to get either one-time funds or monthly support.  I've gotten some  no's and have yet to receive any donations. But I've been told that you have to get a certain number of "no's" before you can get any "yes's".  I just spent the last  week in Montgomery. Dad was recording a class that he's teaching at Faulkner ( he's not going to be able to be there for all the semester). Me and David tagged along, hoping to get a few things done. Todd had agreed to give me some driving lessons and Robert Waggoner had told me to stop by when I got the chance and go through some books of his to see if I w...

An Observation

An Observation      Recently, Lindsey was hired by World Bible School to hand out lessons and see that they are graded. She thought that stopping by the Arusha Library she might be able to find a few English speaking people with whom she could conduct a bible study. The library is about 30 minutes from our house and in the middle of town.      You can not see it, but it has a downstairs area where the children's section is located. (This picture was not taken by me)       Lindsey asked that I accom...
